Delays possible during resurfacing of A1066 Diss Road, Roydon
Work will begin on Wednesday 25 July to carry out carriageway surfacing works on A1066 Diss Road, Roydon. To minimise any disruption we are planning to complete the works in just one day, subject to suitable weather conditions.
The site will extend from the junction with Denmark Lane towards Roydon for approx. 50 metres. The works will be completed within one day and will be carried out from 9.30am to 4.00pm.
Whilst surfacing works are in progress traffic will be controlled using 4 way Stop / Go boards with a convoy system.
Access to businesses and properties will be maintained but some delays are possible.
The County Council would like to thank people for their patience while these works to replace the existing worn out road surface are carried out.
The work which will cost £19,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
