🤝 A Helping Hand for South Norfolk Residents! 🏡
At South Norfolk Council, we understand the importance of enabling our elderly residents to stay in the comfort of their homes for as long as possible. Sometimes, a small change can make a big difference. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our Handyperson+ scheme!
🛠️ Our experienced team is here to assist with a variety of small household repairs and minor adaptations. From fitting key safes to fall prevention measures, smoke alarms, grab rails, and improved lighting – we’ve got you covered.
🌡️ Additionally, our team can provide valuable advice on staying warm during colder weather. But we go beyond just fixing things; during our visits, our handypersons take the time to chat with residents, identifying any additional support needed.
💡 They possess in-depth knowledge about grants, allowances, and services that residents may be eligible for. Our mission is not only to address immediate concerns but also to enhance overall well-being.
👥 We understand that social connections are crucial. That’s why our team can guide residents to relevant community support, suggesting social clubs or local events to help combat loneliness.
