Information for Election Candidates, May 2023
The following information may be useful if you are considering or intending to stand in the parish elections being held on Thursday 4 May 2023.

Completed nominations must be hand delivered (does not need to be the candidate) to the Returning Officer, Broadland District Council / South Norfolk District Council, Horizon Centre (annex), Broadland Business Park, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF and can be submitted on any work day from Friday 17 March until 4pm on Tuesday 4 April, 2023 between the hours of 9 am to 4 pm.

Roydon Parish Council has 9 Councillors. If there are more than 9 candidates a poll will be held on election day. If there are 9 or fewer candidates, the election will be uncontested, no poll will be necessary and all candidates will be elected onto the Council.
If you are elected please make contact with the Parish Clerk as soon as possible to ensure that you are contacted when the next meeting agenda is issued. All Councillors take office from Tuesday 9 May. The first Parish Council meeting following the election will be held on Wednesday 17 May.
